Cool containers with easier-to-ship packagingIMG_0355

At the Hutamaki booth we discovered “Velocity”! It’s  a new type of packaging with graphics, directly printed on flat flexible plastic that are formed into a container. The high quality printing and unique packaging shapes really popped on shelf and could help many brands stand out in the marketplace. The flat printed plastic is formed into cylindrical or oval containers at the manufacturing facility. The containers can be cut to any size. Another packaging bonus is freight cost reduction – up to 95%! Rather than shipping a truckload of empty pre-formed containers, you’re shipping flat sheets that take up a lot less space. Another bonus: Hutamaki leases their machines, so you don’t have that big capital investment. This packaging would be great for dry products like candy and snacks.

Natural and Authenticphoto

You can’t get much more natural than wood. Made of poplar, give your brand that really authentic, handmade feel with these unique containers form Group Lacroix. Yes, this type of packaging has been around for a while, but the new shapes will differentiate your brand from the rest of the pack. Group LaCroix will actually burn your graphics into the wood. Or, you can go the conventional route of printing.

Did you know?

80% of the meat in China is packed in single serve containers because most of the population eats meat as an on-the-go snack, rather than a center of the plate meal.
